Two Segments And One Match Set For Smackdown Live, Daniel Bryan Injury Update
WWE announced Saturday afternoon that this coming week on Smackdown Live, the WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston (w/Xavier Woods and Kevin Owens), Will face off against Shinsuke Nakamura (w/Rusev and Lana). WWE is also advertising a face to face confrontation between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair after WrestleMania 34, and will repercussions occur for newly drafted Roman Reigns following a Superman Punch on Vince McMahon?
There has been speculation regarding Daniel Bryan and his injury. The speculation begins to grow as WWE has pulled him from advertising on recent shows. He was scheduled for tonight’s Smackdown Live event in Madison, Wisconsin, but was pulled from the event along with tomorrow’s live event show in Rochester, Minnesota.
It appears that Randy Orton will be filling in the voided spot for Bryan, facing off with Kofi Kingston in those matches.
Daniel Bryan has been out of action since WrestleMania with an undisclosed injury and WWE is guarding it.
With all of that being said, next week’s Smackdown Live will be held in Lincoln, Nebraska. The venue is advertising Bryan vs Kingston as the dark match main event of the show.
